With a focus on the case of Finland, more specifically Central Finland and the Äänekoski region, Jana Holz studies within her PhD-project social transformations, changing forest relations as well as debates and struggles over the ‘best’ use of forests from a regional point of view based on current field research and qualitative interviews.
